Hey, I’m Ali.

I’m a strategic communication advisor for sustainability-led brands in the outdoor industry and beyond. I help my clients achieve their goals by aligning their internal and external communications with their strategy, and teaching them how to tell compelling stories that inspire people to think, feel and do things differently.

Most recently, I was the Executive Director of Protect Our Winters Canada, a climate nonprofit centred in the outdoor community with expertise in using powerful communication strategies to help outdoor enthusiasts become effective climate advocates.

A former lawyer (I know, I know) and career communication professional, I have a Masters in Organizational Communication and have built and led communication departments for major organizations in Melbourne (Australia), London and Canada. I bring these strategic skills, along with a soul in the mountains and the heart of a creative to my work with clients like you.

I’m a business member of 1% For the Planet, which means 1% of my gross annual revenue goes to climate-related causes. In addition, I offset all business-related carbon emissions and strive to operate green engagements, so our work together doesn’t harm our planet.

What else?

I’m a skier, a mediocre but enthusiastic mountain biker, mum to two awesome kiddos and a sweet German Shepherd. I make a legendary spaghetti bolognese.
